9-8-2016. Great 20 year-old Red Burgundy: 1996 Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron Romanee-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru. Fantastic mature Grand Cru Red Burgundy. Slight brick at the edges. After 30 minutes in the glass became very smooth and delicious with amazing complexity, richness and a long, silky smooth finish. Drink now, it won’t get any better. 95
9-10-2016. Opaque red, no signs of age for this 15 year old Cab. Rich, smooth as silk, multi-layered flavors and complexity, incredibly balanced, super long delicious finish. This is as good as it gets for Cabernet Sauvignon. Still a baby. Stored at 55F since birth. 100+
